The Revolution will be Twittered - #IranElection #CNNfail

The Iranian Election is over, President Ahmadinejad has been declared the winner. But the people in Iran KNOW the truth. And they are not happy. The Main Stream Media, including CNN, MSNBC, FoxNews have all FAILED MISERABLY in covering what is currently going on in Iran. However, there has been a lone light in the dark. Apparently the Revolution will not be televised, but it will be Twittered! http://iran. twazzup.com/

It's absolutely incredible what's been happening on Twitter. All day regular everyday citizens in Iran have been Tweeting to the world, letting them know that they have witnessed fraud, ballot boxes being burned, they KNOW that Ahmadinejad stole the election, and they have been posting video and photos of the rioting that has been going on in Tehran all day and all night. Reports of police on motorbikes hitting anybody they can reach with batons. Reports of them pulling women out of cars and beating them in the streets. But also reports of people fighting back, throwing rocks, setting police motorbikes on fire, and having the police on the run.

Everyone is saying that this is the beginning of a revolution. The dictator shut down telephone and regular internet, but tech savvy youth managed to get still get their Tweets out, and upload video footage to YouTube. Apparently the Dictatorial Regime in Iran has highly underestimated the power of the Web and Social Media.
