It has been absolutely exciting working on the Get Engaged Tour for Equality California. EQCA Stanislaus has 2 big events planned for February's, Freedom to Marry month.
I've arranged for Molly McKay, the field director for Equality California, to speak at my church, and we are having a Marriage Counter demonstration on Valentine's Day.
We've gotten really great responses from local churches, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, the United Church of Christ affiliated, College Avenue Congegational Church, and now the First United Methodist Church.
We are going to have signs that say, "My Faith Includes Marriage Equality" and "Faith as Works for Justice."
This is going to be so great!
