Today, Cynthia and I went with a group up to Loomis, CA to speak to the UCC church there about what it means for us to attend an Open & Affirming church. The Loomis UCC is a small church situated on the top of a hill with a beautiful view of rolling tree-lined hills. I really enjoyed going and speaking about why it is important for a church to actually make the statement that they accept LGBT people.
